Meet the Hamilton Dental Team

April 1st, 2021

Hamilton Family Dentistry is committed to creating the most comfortable experience for our patients. Our dental team is led by Dr. Arrington and Dr. Rowland, who set the vision for genuine customer care. We believe that knowing your dentists can help encourage comfort. Through this blog, we wanted to give a glimpse into the passionate dentists who lead Hamilton Family Dentistry.

Dr. Arrington

Dr. Arrington found his purpose and passion once he entered dentistry. After earning his degree in finance from University of Alabama and continuing postgraduate studies at Columbus State, Dr. Arrington started work at a bank. He felt like something was missing and that he had not found his niche yet. He decided to attend dental school. When he started dental school at the Medical College of Georgia, he was married with three kids. He credits his success to the unyielding support of his wife. In dentistry, he found the opportunity to interact with patients, get to know them, and experience the joy of helping them. The connection to patients fulfills Dr. Arrington and drives him to continually be the best for his patients. Dr. Arrington loves the small town feel of Hamilton and he feels entirely at home caring for the patients of Harris County. With every patient, Dr. Arrington strives to make them feel comfortable and relaxed regardless of whether they are having a basic cleaning or a dramatic smile makeover.

Dr. Rowland

Raised in the small town of Alma, Dr. Rowland recognized her passion for dentistry when she was 12. She noticed how small towns with one overworked dentist would lead to people having to commute up to an hour away for dental care. She wanted to be part of bringing quality care to small towns. Hamilton was an ideal fit for her vision. Prior to coming to Hamilton, she earned her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Georgia and her dental degree from the University of Alabama. Dr. Rowland has deep family roots which she infuses into her patient care. She always imagines how she would want her relatives treated. Dr. Rowland loves being able to help patients feel comfortable at the dentist and smile again. She is deeply passionate about helping patients transform their smiles and regain their confidence and joy.

If you are ready to schedule a visit with Dr. Arrington or Dr. Rowland, call Hamilton Family Dentistry today! Our dedicated team wants to deliver the best care in a comfortable setting for your family.

FAQ

  • How often should I visit your office?

We recommend patients visit our office two times each year for dental checkups.  These preventative visits arte the standard in care as set forth by the American Dental Association and this is typically frequent enough to prevent most oral health concerns and diagnose others in the earliest stages.
  • What is periodontal disease?

Gum (periodontal) disease is a common oral health concern that occurs when plaque and tartar buildup irritates gum tissue and breaks down soft tissue and supportive jawbone structure leading to a number of oral health concerns.  We offer a variety of periodontal therapy options to renew oral health for patients suffering from gum disease.
  • Can I call you during dental emergencies?

We are happy to help patients during dental emergencies.  Don’t heistate to contact us right away.  We provide same day appointments whenever possible and are happy to walk you through first aid and pain management over the phone.
  • Can I bring my kids to Hamilton Family Dentistry?

Absolutely.  We’re happy to provide pediatric dental care for young patients and we offer a variety of treatments specifically geared toward patients with growing smiles.
  • I get nervous at the dentist. What can you do to help?

In addition to treating each patient with the level of kindness and compassion they deserve, we also offer a variety of sedation dentistry solutions to help patients stay relaxed and pain free from the moment they arrive.
  • How will I know if I have a root canal infection?

The doctor will need to examine your tooth to find out for sure, but contact us right away if you experience any of the following common warning signs of root canal infection:
    • Severe toothache
    • Sensitivity to changes in temperature
    • Discoloration of a single tooth
    • Infection in the gums around a tooth
  • Do you offer financing plans?

We are happy to work with qualified patients to find low or no interest payment plans through two third party dentistry financiers, CareCredit and Lending Club.  Please ask us if you qualify for our financing options at your next appointment.
